Silane Coupling Agents with Polyaniline

Abstract

A coupling agent based upon aniline was synthesized and applied to glass. Polymerization of aniline in the presence of silane treated glass gave films showing the reversible semiconducting-insulating properties of polyaniline with improved adhesion compared to untreated glass.
