Description

NSU Oceanographic Campus librarians past and present will describe their experiences with transitioning library staff from seasoned marine science veterans to new librarians with differing academic backgrounds. Topics will include the search for new librarians, the transition of management, a new vision of the library, and tips for managing the process.

SAIL is a network of cooperating marine and aquatic science libraries. Member libraries range from the southeastern U.S. Gulf Coast, the Atlantic Coast of North America–including central and eastern Canada, Bermuda, Bahamas, Caribbean, eastern Mexico, and Panama.
