Dr. Ogilvie's research combines brain development in children and social determinants of health.


Dr. Jacqueline Ogilvie completed her Subspecialty Residency in Developmental Paediatrics at the University of Alberta, in Edmonton. She completed her medical training at the University of Ottawa and Paediatrics residency at Western University. Her clinical interests include the assessment and follow-up of children with Autism Spectrum Disorders, developmental assessment of children with genetic syndromes, and the rehabilitation of children following acquired brain injury. She has training in both the Neuromotor and Behavioural aspects of Developmental Paediatrics.

Developmental paediatrics combines her passion for understanding early brain development, social determinants of health and patient advocacy. She has a Master’s degree in Clinical Epidemiology and Biostatistics from McMaster University. Her Master’s thesis was a qualitative look at expanding genetic services in Ontario. Dr. Ogilvie looks forward to growing her research portfolio to include both clinical and health systems-based research.
