Abstract
Professor Jacob Noti-Victor Speaks to TIME Magazine on Protecting “Who TF Did I Marry?” Creator's Intellectual Property

As Reesa Teesa’s 50-part TikTok story about the dissolution of her marriage went viral, questions have arisen about protecting intellectual property on the platform. “Reputable producers would want to collaborate with her and make sure that she was involved," Noti-Victor said. “Some elements of her story could be protected by copyright and other forms of intellectual property, and trying to adapt the story without her permission would be risky.”
