Abstract
Ever received a request from a journal that seems too good to be true?  You may have been targeted by a predatory journal, a journal that takes payment for publication while providing fraudulent information about its editors, peer review, and scholarly worth.  In this presentation, learn how to identify and avoid predatory journals without dismissing up-and-coming publications.
