About Jack Whitehead

My research is focused on the generation of living-educational-theories within cultures of inquiry that are contributing to the creation of a new educational humanism through living as fully as possible values that carry hope for the future of humanity. I use an action research and living-theory-methodology to clarify the meanings of the expression of embodied, energy-flowing values as explanatory principles of educational influence. I coined the idea of a living-educational-theory as an individual's explanation of their educational influence in their own learning, in the learning of others and in the learning of the social formations in which we live, work and research. Much of my research and the living-theory doctorates of others can be accessed at . I also developed a method of empathetic resonance using digital visual data to clarify and communicate the meanings of embodied and energy-flowing values.
