About J. Palmer Lockard II
Palmer Lockard is the director of Central Pennsylvania Law Clinics. He also directs the law school’s trial advocacy programs, and teaches courses on family law and remedies.

He, along with other members of the clinical faculty, provides mentoring to the students as they begin the practice of law.
Professor Lockard also mentors students in Widener’s trial advocacy programs. In the Intensive Trial Advocacy Program, he oversees the instruction provided by the volunteer attorneys who act as faculty in the program. He also coaches Widener’s Trial Advocacy Honor Society teams as they prepare for interscholastic competitions.
