About Ijaz Malik, MD

A fellowship-trained specialist in cardiovascular diseases, Ijaz Malik, MD is a caring physician committed to providing patients with the most complete, technologically-advanced heart care available. From diagnosis and treatment to case management and follow-up, Dr. Malik emphasizes the importance of patient education and preventive health.

Board certified in cardiovascular diseases, nuclear cardiology and adult echocardiography, Dr. Malik provides a full range of specialized services and procedures including cardiopulmonary stress testing, angiograms, echocardiograms, cardiolite perfusion stress tests and transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE). In addition to his patient practice, he serves as a clinical assistant professor of medicine at the University of Wisconsin Medical School Milwaukee Clinical Campus and is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology.

Dr. Malik earned his medical degree at King Edward Medical College at the University of Punjab in 1985 and remained in Pakistan until 1990. He then completed his residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in cardiology at Sinai Samaritan Medical Center in Milwaukee. During his residency he was named resident of the year in 1990 and chief resident in 1992.
