About Ifeanyi Onor, Pharm.D., BCPS, FNKF
Dr. Ifeanyi Onor is a Medical Science Liaison - Nephrology at Amgen Inc. Previously, he held the positions of Clinical Associate Professor of Pharmacy at Xavier University of Louisiana College of Pharmacy, Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine (gratis) at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center New Orleans, & Internal Medicine/Nephrology Clinical Pharmacist at University Medical Center New Orleans. In his prior joint academic and clinical appointment, he educated pharmacy students, pharmacy residents, medical students, and medical residents while providing pharmaceutical care services to patients. Dr. Onor is a Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist and a Fellow of the National Kidney Foundation. His clinical practice and research interests are in the area of nephrology, clinical pharmacokinetics, internal medicine, and pharmacy education.
Dr. Onor earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Southern University at New Orleans and his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Xavier University of Louisiana. After receiving his Doctor of Pharmacy degree, he completed an American Society of Health-System Pharmacists accredited pharmacy practice residency at Emory Healthcare, Atlanta, Georgia.
