About Hyun Kwon

Hyun J. Kwon grew up in South Korea and received her BS (1996) and MS (1998) from the department of chemical engineering at KAIST. She came to the United States to study and receive her PhD (2002) from the Department of Chemical Engineering at the University of Louisville. She joined Andrews University as an assistant professor after she finished her post-doctoral training at the University of Maryland. She teaches various engineering subjects including control theory, heat transfer and thermodynamics, among others. Her enthusiasm towards teaching and research at Andrews grows stronger to best serve her students and God.
Hyun J. Kwon is currently working on a manuscript that is related to calcium mobilization in olfactory tissues. She is interested in biological events in olfactory tissues and the calcium imaging in living tissues.
