About Humberto Llavador

Professor of economics at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF) and affiliate professor of the Barcelona GSE. My research focuses on political economy, climate change and welfare economics. I have published in the Quarterly Journal of Economics, the Journal of Public Economics, the Journal of Development Economics and Climatic Change, among others, and my research have been funded by public and private grants (FP6, fBBVA, Fundación Ramón Areces,...) . I have visited Yale University in several occasions, the Grantham Research Institute at LSE in 2015, and Princeton in 2009 as a member of the school of Social Science at the Institute for Advanced Study. In 2012 I received the Recognition Jaume Vicens-Vives for teaching quality and innovation.
I have published the recent book Sustainability for a Warming Planet with Harvard University Press.
