Dr. Duan is a licensed CPA in the state of New York. Her research areas include audit analytics, continuous auditing, emerging technologies and artificial intelligence (AI) in accounting and auditing, exogenous data, and governmental accounting.
Dr. Duan completed a B.A. in accounting and finance, a M.A. in accounting from Syracuse University, and a Ph.D. in accounting and information systems from Rutgers University.
