About Huihui Xu
A biomedical engineer with multidisciplinary background. Dr. Xu received her B.E. on Biomedical Engineering and a M.S. on Applied Mathematics, both from Zhejiang University. Her Bioengineering Ph.D. was from University of Illinois at Chicago, with a specialty on medical imaging. After working at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology for four years, Dr. Xu joined the University of Nebraska in 2011. In 2014 she joined the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering at University of the Pacific as an Assistant Professor. Her primary research interests are in the areas of medical imaging, tissue engineering, biomedical instrumentation and embedded system design. Dr. Xu has extensive experience in teaching fundamental biomedical engineering courses.
