About Hippu Salk Kristle Nathan

Though an ardent lover of Physics in school and intermediate days, I landed up doing research on development issues at the PhD level. Before I switched to Development Studies I was trained in Mechanical Engineering for about six years and worked as a software professional in IT firms for more than four years. However as life's academic mission, when I had to choose between puzzles and people; machines and lives - I opted for the latter.
Presently, I am an Assistant Professor at National Institute of Advanced Studies (NIAS). Even today, though Physics remains as my first passion and algorithms entice me; I feel analysis and activism in the frontiers like Energy, Climate, Poverty, Inequality, Socio-political reform, and World Peace are the need of the hour.
