About Henry J. Pernicka

Dr. Henry Pernicka, professor of aerospace engineering and Dean’s Educator Scholar at Missouri S&T, was named Curators’ Distinguished Teaching Professor by the University of Missouri Board of Curators in 2021.

Dr. Pernicka joined the faculty at Missouri S&T in 2001. He has won several Outstanding Teaching Awards from S&T through the years and was honored with Outstanding Teaching Awards from the American Society of Engineering Education Midwest Section in 2006 and 2007. Dr. Pernicka was CEC’s inaugural Dean’s Educator Scholar in 2017.
