The book (in Swedish) explores the well-established legal cooperation between the Nordic countries (Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden). Especially it looks into the current discussion on intra-Nordic border barriers, i.e., legal obstacles for cross-border movement and business. The book presents an account of such border barriers in fields such as taxation, social insurance, and labour law. Various solutions to such problems are discussed, including using the parliamentary and governmental cooperation structures within the Nordic Council and the Nordic Council of Ministers. Furthermore, the relation between Nordic cooperation and EU law are treated.
