Abstract
When someone is equipped with knowledge, he or she is said to have power. Knowledge undoubtedly is derivative from information. Based upon this, information scientists, and all those concerned with information generation/creation, processing, preservation and dissemination in whatever form, are looking for the best methods to serve their users. This will obviously empower users as they will be knowledgeable enough to pursue their daily challenges. Thus, this paper discusses how knowledge of ICT can be used for effective teaching and learning in science and technical education. This is an area ignored, especially at the NCE and ND levels.
