This chapter is an extension of the dialogue between Luce Irigaray and Helen A Fielding on Irigaray's article, translated by Fielding, about Maurice Merleau-Ponty's essay, "Eye and Mind". Irigaray's article, "To Paint the Invisible" appears in Continental Philosophy Review along with the original shorter interview.
