I am currently a fourth year student at the University of Central Florida majoring in Biology. I am a McNair Scholar and I am aim to pursue a Ph.D. in marine biology with a focus on ecology and physiology of marine organisms.

I participated in the Duke University Marine Lab REU program, where I investigated the larval release in the crab Dyspanopeus sayi and entrainment by temperature cycles. At UCF, I am a research assistant in Dr. Walters' Coastal Estuarine and Ecology Lab. I am currently working on an undergraduate thesis investigated the abundance and variety of microplastics found in the organic tissue of the eastern oysters and Atlantic mud crabs.
