About Heidi Grundetjern

Heidi Grundetjern received her Ph.D. in Sociology from the University of Oslo in 2017. She specializes in qualitative methods, and theoretical perspectives on gender and culture. Her research focuses on the role of gender in illegal drug markets, with a particular focus on women’s experiences. Her current research examines how the intersections of social inequalities shape cultures and organizational structures of drug markets.
