Rethinking writing instruction in the lower-level French classroom

Abstract
This session focuses on how genre-based writing instruction facilitates integration of interpretive, interpersonal,
and presentational communication in the lower-level language classroom. Presenters share sample activities and
findings from a 2017 study of instructor and learner perspectives on writing in French.
