Abstract
This paper examines the LIS teaching literature to understand how sexually-related materials are framed. The definitions utilized in the teaching literature provide a unique perspective on which to examine the treatment of controversial materials written for library education. Our findings indicate that, in many resources, sex is conspicuously absent.
