Abstract
Using computational modeling, we design nano-structured surfaces able to selectively regulate interactions between microchannel walls and flowing colloid–polymersuspensions. Depending on the geometry of nanoscopic posts lining internal channel surfaces, suspended nanoparticles and polymeric chains can be either hydrodynamically attracted to channel walls or repelled to the bulk fluid.
