Abstract

weight efficient ballistic armor using the fiber reinforced laminates was the target of this study which was fulfilled successfully in addition to other inspiring results. The aim is to compare between two major fabrics used for a specific application which is the bullet proof panels or vests. A scientific background was illustrated for each material separately in addition to their methods of production in industry. The different types for each fabric was stated with their various applications and the reason of the chosen type for the experimental work was clarified in order to provide the reader with the logical reason of choosing these specific type for the desired application.
