About Gwenyth Hood

Gwenyth Hood is a Professor of English who specializes in Medieval English Literature, Comparative Literature, and Creative Writing. Dr. Hood received her Ph.D. from the University of Michigan. Dr. Hood has served as editor, and, on the governing board for The Mythic Circle, a literary magazine published by the Mythopoeic Society which celebrates the work of C. S. Lewis, J.R. Tolkien and Charles Williams. She edited six issues (for the years 2004-2009). This involved reading submissions, giving feedback to authors, working with illustrators, doing layout, and working with people interested in assisting the editing process.
