Abstract
This post in the Oxford Business Law Blog (October 29, 2020) presents the co-authors' forthcoming article to appear in the Santa Clara High Technology Law Journal--"EU General Data Protection Regulation Sanctions in Theory and in Practice." It analyzes GDPR sanctions through the prism of sanctions theory and draws lessons for corporate compliance and well as regulatory action.
