About Timothy R. Green

Dr. Timothy R. Green has over 20 years of research experience, including three years with the USGS Water Resources Division (pre-PhD), four years with CSIRO Australia Land and Water, and 14 years with the USDA-ARS. His research has led to more than 100 multidisciplinary publications as refereed journal papers (H-index = 14), book chapters, and proceedings papers, and more than 70 conference abstracts. He served as lead Guest Editor of three journal special issues, Associate Editor of three journals, and was selected as the Outstanding Associate Editor of the Vadose Zone J. (2007). Dr. Green's areas of research include scaling of heterogeneous soil hydraulic properties and numerical simulation of water movement in variable landscapes, spatial measurement and scaling of soil water and topography, simulation of groundwater recharge, and hydrologic impacts of potential climate change. Served as Chair (2012) of the Soil Physics Division of Soil Science Society of America (SSSA). Fellow of SSSA (2011) and the American Society of Agronomy (2012).
