About Gordon R. Haley

Gordon Haley is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Management and Technology at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. He holds a doctorate in Human Resource Management from Nova Southeastern University and a master’s in Organization Development and Analysis from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. Both in the classroom and in business settings, a main focus for Gordon is looking at how the HR function of organizations has evolved over time, going from a department primarily concerned with record maintenance to a key functional area that is strategically linked to organizational growth and performance. He has published and presented research on OD and leadership topics including the role of love and compassion in leading a diverse organization, at the International Research Conference for the Management and Business Disciplines, as well as diversity and inclusion and the future of work by examining the future workplace through a generational lens. He presented a study on this topic at Human Capital Analytics Conference sponsored by the Conference Board.
