About Glynis Bradfield

Since 2011, Glynis Bradfield has directed student services for high school and university students studying online through Andrews University.  Her responsibilities include coordinating academic advising for all undergraduate distance degreescredit for prior learning across all schools, and precollege services. Since 1998, Glynis has also led the development of circle.adventist.org, as the curriculum and instruction resource center linking educators transnationally. While raising three chlidren, she invested in leading Adventurer, Pathfinder and Sabbath School Ministries and coordinated children's ministry training.  As adjunct faculty, she has taught Mathematics and Secondary Teaching Methods.  
During 1985-1998, she served as a missionary educator in South Africa, Zambia, and D.R. Congo, developed a literacy center and managed translation, fund-raising for and production of several books and K-12 Bible curricula. Her interests in comparitive education and meaningful assessment of Christian spiritual growth in Adventist education prompted her doctoral research, 2008-2011, developing and validating the Growing Disciple Inventory, since refined and expanded to paper and online versions for children, youth, and adults.
