Estimating the Returns to Multi-Sector Population Health Initiatives
Florida International University Department of Health Policy and Management Seminar Series (2017)

Abstract
Using longitudinal data from a national cohort of U.S. communities, we estimate geographic and intertemporal variation in the implementation of population health activities and in the degree of multi-sector engagement in implementation.  We find sizable improvements in health outcomes and reductions in health disparities in communities that build dense multi-sector networks supporting population health.
