About Giuseppe Travaglini Prof.

Giuseppe Travaglini is Full Professor of Economics at the University of Urbino. He
obtained a Master in Economics from the University of York in 1994, and a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Ancona in 1996. One of his research interests focuses on the productivity slowdown puzzle in the European countries in the last decade, the role of technological progress and institutions in affecting economic growth. Recently, he has been studying issues related to energy economics, environmental economics and pollution. Another line of research concerns financial markets. He has studied the effect of uncertainty and irreversibility on investment.
