The US is still the dominant nation in the world, despite claims regarding its weakened state. But while the US's present external power is unmatched in history, it faces some serious internal challenges that will prove detrimental to its strength if they are not addressed. The US can no longer be the world's guardian and deliver the American dream to its citizens.
