About Gillian Gomer

I am an undergraduate research assistant in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Central Florida, where I work in image analysis, experiment and lighting design, as well as helping new students get acclimated and started in the lab. I also serve as a peer advisor for UCF's Academic Advancement Programs office, after previously serving as a peer mentor for the Office of Undergraduate Research. Though I currently research small particle interactions in microgravity, I plan to pursue a PhD in astrobotany which will allow me to combine my lab experience with my course experience in plant sciences.
