Latino Youth: Beware of Military Recruiters!, Jovenes, ¡Esta guerra no es digna de su vida!
El Observador (2007)
  • Gil J. Villagran, San Jose State University
Abstract
Latino, immigrant, low-income, and other minority youth are targeted by military recruiters, promised money for college and even resident visas if they join the military. Yet they rarely recruit in high income communities or prep high schools. This bilingual editorial is being used for counter military recruitment in San Jose high schools, and others doing counter-recruitment are welcome (by permission) to copy and distribute to youth in your community. In both English and Spanish
