Abstract

A proposal is a written request for approval of an investigation. It is the candidate’s way of telling the reader, “Here is the problem; here is how I hope to arrive at the solution.” Guidelines are presented for a traditional three-chapter model: Introduction, Review of the Literature, and Methodology. Instructions for writing the narrative and a comprehensive bibliography are provided. This document is intended to support real-life initiatives. Theoretical dissertations have somewhat different requirements.
