JAANP has strong history of publishing articles on contemporary nurse practitioner (NP) educational issues. As guest editors of the journal’s first themed issue on NP education, it was rewarding to receive a strong response to our Call for Manuscripts. The number of publishable manuscripts exceeded the limitations of one issue. Beyond those included here, others are scheduled for future issues and will continue to make significant contributions.
