About Geoff Holland

Geoff is a barrister and a lecturer in the Faculty of Law at the University of Technology, Sydney.
Geoff teaches, researches and practices in media, constitutional and communications law and is a Research Associate of the Communications Law Centre. He is currently a member of the Board of Electronic Frontiers Australia.
Geoff commenced teaching at UTS in 2003 in both the Faculty of Law and the Faculty of Humanities and Social Science (where he taught Media Information and the Law and the Regulation of the Media to media production and journalism students).
Geoff has undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in Media Arts and Law (with Honours), and is currently completing further postgraduate studies in Law.
He has been a member of the Editorial Board of the UTS Law Review (2003- 2006) and was Co-Editor of Volume 5 of the Review, 'The Public Right to Know'.

Prior to joining UTS, Geoff worked in criminal law policy development, in corporate publishing, and for a national media network.
