About Genevieve Elrod, PhD, RN, OCN

Dr. Genevieve Elrod has been faculty with the Kirkhof College of Nursing since 2016, and also currently serves as the Assistant Unit Head for Undergraduate Programs. Her clinical background is in oncology and clinical trials coordination. Her scholarship relates to equity in nursing education, including open educational resources, holistic admissions, and innovative teaching and learning practices. Her teaching includes nursing research and evidence-based practice as well as clinical and theoretical medical-surgical nursing.
