Abstract
Using death to interrupt a narrative is very common. Death makes thing finite, gives narrative flow an ending. Hemingway is an example. But the negative aspect of a death is that it can convert a regular narrative flow into a turbulent one. This phenomenon, like the narrative of Tristram Shandy, makes "flow" makes the narrative chaotic not unlike turbulence can bring an aircraft down.
