About Gary L. Rose
Gary L. Rose, Ph.D., is the Chairman of the Department of Government, Politics & Global Studies. His teaching and research interests include American Politics, American Presidency, Presidential Elections, Constitutional Law, State and Local Government, and Political Parties. Dr. Rose joined the Sacred Heart University faculty in 1982. He is a frequent commentator for various media regarding national and Connecticut politics. He is also Club Advisor for Hearts United, a student organization that in many ways helps military veterans and active duty military personnel. and Advisor for the Pre-law Club.
Dr. Rose received his Ph.D. from Miami University (Ohio) in 1982.
