Thermochemistry of Ammonium Metavanadate and Sodium Metavanadate

Abstract

Appropriate ΔH values obtained by means of solution calorimetry lead to ΔH°f = -251.7 kcal. per mole for NH4VO3(c) and ΔH°f = -274.2 kcal. per mole for NaVO3(c). These values are compared with results in the literature and used for calculation of ΔG°f values for both compounds.
