Abstract

The solubility of dimethylmercury in water and aqueous electrolyte solutions at 25°C has been investigated with flameless atomic absorption analysis. The solubility in water (4 ppm) is geneally decreased by addition of electrolyte, except in the case of halides, with which the solubility is greatly increased.
