About Gail Samdperil

Gail Samdperil, EdD, ATC, is currently an adjunct professor of Exercise Science at Sacred Heart University. She was formerly Clinical Associate Professor of Athletic Training and Associate Dean of Students Affairs (undergraduate and graduate).  Dr. Samdperil was also the Program Director for the Master in Athletic Training.Gail implemented the undergraduate Human Movement and Sports Science curriculum with course work in athletic training and exercise science and clinical placements. Since 2006, Gail has served as the Director of Clinical Education. Prior to her time at SHU, she served as Clinical Coordinator and faculty member at Boston University. Her research interests include professional development and clinical education in athletic training, simulation use in healthcare and cultural competency among students in healthcare.
