About Frank Shushok Jr.

Frank Shushok, Jr. serves as Senior Associate Vice President for Student Affairs and Associate Professor of Higher Education at Virginia Tech, a role he has held since 2009. In addition, he serves as Executive Editor for About Campus (a Wiley publication) and a 2017-18 Fellow of the American Council on Education. Frank’s writing and research interests focus on student learning, positive psychology, and educational interventions that build community and strengthen friendship.
