Abstract
This chapter conceptualizes and illustrates for the Chilean case the institutional readaptation involved in providing protection to sexually diverse people against the threats that affect their lives, and the dynamics of resistance and obstruction that rise within the very institutions in charge of implementing this new form of citizenship.
