This is a collection of papers on the Periodic Table and their reprints presented at conferences or published in the technical press. They are mainly devoted to abandoning the numbering system proposed by the International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry in favor of a new classification of metals into the categories "Typical", "Less Typical", "Transition", "Inner Transition", and the Metalloids". Nonmetals are divided into two groups: "Covalent Bond Nonmetals" and "Monatomic Nonmetals".
