Ausmelt vs Pressure Leaching

Abstract
Ausmelt Technology has been introduced in the past few years as a new pyrometallurgical route for the treatment of copper concentrates and has been extended for the treatment of zinc and nickel sulfide concentrates as well. It is shown here that pressure leaching of these concentrates should be more suitable because of the simple flowsheet.
