Abstract
Donald M. Liddell is best known for editing Handbook of Nonferrous Metallurgy
in 2 volumes in 1926 then a second edition appeared in 1945. Ferrous metallurgy was not included. This preceded Handbook of Extractive Metallurgy published in 1997 in 4 volumes in 2426 pages by Wiley-VCH in Germany which included ferrous metallurgy.
