Abstract
Louis Renzoni was Vice President of International Nickel Company. He is best known for casting of nickel matte into sulfide anodes for direct electrolysis. Renzoni also led a research to reduce sulfur dioxide emissions at the company’s Sudbury operations which involved separating out pyrrhotite. In 1972, Inco’s Super Stack was built to disperse sulfur dioxide emissions beyond Sudbury.
