- Dr. Greenberg's main research efforts have been on identifying good networks for general-purpose parallel computing and developing algorithms in a number of application areas, e.g., routing messages on networks, VLSI wire routing, and sequence analysis problems of interest to computational biologists.

- I am interested in understanding how humans remember and reason. My collaborators and I use a variety of tools including brain imaging (EEG/ERP), neuropsychology and computational modeling. We also study these topics in young children and older adults as well as people with a variety of neurodegenerative diseases including Alzheimer’s disease, Frontotemporal Dementia and Mild Cognitive Impairment.

- Professor Williams’ current research examines these themes in two different projects. One is a study of the involvement of religious groups in progressive political causes – with two collaborators he recently published Religion and Progressive Activism (New York University Press, 2017). The second is an examination of the public attitudes and political language about immigration and immigrants in contemporary American politics, and how they use images of national identity.
